With more than 4000 Km of mountain range, Chile is recognized as the best snow oriented destination in South America. Because of its excellent snow conditions, the infrastructure is first class making it all quite accessible throughout the beauty of the Andes and the easy access to urban centers.
The main ski resorts are found in the central zone 45 min. away from Santiago. They are well known for their immerged location at nice 2400-3700 mts. Here we can experience the biggest skiable domain in all South America.
The ski resorts in the south are smaller and at fewer heights. They are normally located on the outskirts of volcanic zones surrounded by amazing views and vast forests.
Normally the snow lasts from June until September, except Huilo-Huilo, the first snow park which is open throughout the summer season.
